Cookie policy

This policy explains the cookies and local storage Property Pro uses in your browser, why, and how you can control them.

Last updated: September 28, 2026

1What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Your browser sends them back on each visit so the site can remember you.

Local storage is space in your browser where a site can keep data on your device. It isn't sent to our servers automatically.

2Cookies we use

We use only these cookies (name — purpose — duration):

  • propertypro_token — keeps you signed in; httpOnly, so page scripts cannot read it — 30 days.
  • propertypro_theme — remembers your light or dark mode choice — 1 year.
  • propertypro_preview — gives our team access to preview the site before launch; httpOnly — 30 days.
  • NEXT_LOCALE — remembers your language choice; set by the site framework — until you close your browser.

3Local storage we use

We keep these items in your browser's local storage:

  • compare:properties — your list of properties to compare; stays on your device only — until you clear it.
  • buyer-request-draft — an unsent buyer request draft, which may include your name, phone and email, so you don't lose what you typed — cleared when you submit the request.

4No analytics or advertising cookies

We do not use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies or tools. Everything listed above is needed for the site to work or to remember your choices.

5Third-party content

Some content is loaded from third-party servers, which receive your IP address and standard browser information and are covered by those providers' own policies:

  • Map tiles from OpenFreeMap (tiles.openfreemap.org) on the map page.
  • Property images hosted on third-party image servers and on Amazon S3.
  • Google Fonts, on the staff dashboard only.

6How to clear or block them

You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings, usually under "Privacy" or "Cookies and site data".

Clearing site data also removes your comparison list and any saved buyer request draft on that device.

7What happens if you block them

If you block the propertypro_token cookie, you won't be able to sign in.

If you block the others, the site still works, but it won't remember your language, light or dark mode, comparison list or request draft.

8Changes and contact

If we add or change any cookie, we will update this page.

For any question, reach us through the contact page (/contact).
